What Happened To Urumor.com?

So I happened to stop by the site urumor.com today and noticed that the homepage says "This Account Has Been Suspended" "Please contact the billing/support department as soon as possible." I heard the site was for sale for $1,200, but that is only a rumor. No pun intended. lol

As a webhost company, I know what that page means. It means someone forgot to pay their hosting bill. Either that, or they were suspended for a Terms of Service TOS violation with their website host.

Urumor is a ranting website where visitors could go and vent about a company that they have had an experience with. Usually the experience is a bad one, and urumor allowed for people to say whatever they wanted about whoever they wanted. The problem with the site, is that no one really confirmed the information. Hence the name "Urumor"; makes an appropriate name.

Rumors can sometimes be damaging to a company that never had an honest chance to either defend themselves or make it right with the angry individual in the first place. As a business owner, I do everything in my athourity to resolve issues quickly with upset clients. Though I should say, we don't have many complaints, but to say we never have any, would be dishonest. Misunderstandings are common with humans. In fact, that's what makes us human. Yet the initiave to resolve issues is what makes us kind human beings and sets us apart from the rest.
